Fethullah Gulen, Dr. Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Mevlana Rumi, and Mother Teresa, Come for the food,fun & felowship but also to be inspired.

Children's Nonprofit

Ric is the founder and executive director of dear future, inc; a North Texas nonprofit with the

mission to bring education and health to children in remote and extremely poor regions of the

world. 

Ric is an adopted immigrant from Peru, came at the age of 16; he is a veteran of the US navy

and founded dear future in 2021; he's here to share with us about the rewarding experience of

starting a nonprofit that focuses on helping children, and the power of taking the first step

towards doing what is in your heart...

Bio - Mela Singleton has dedicated more than 20 years to animal welfare and the stewardship of local wildlife. She is the owner of 911 Wildlife and the founder and board chair of the North Texas Wildlife Center. Mela collaborates with numerous animal welfare organizations and shelters and serves on the Wildlife Rehabilitators Committee for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. She is passionate about public engagement and frequently speaks at local and national events on a wide range of wildlife topics, with a focus on bringing awareness to the spaces where people and wildlife intersect.

Jim Frankenfield, our service chair has set up our April service project as a Park clean-up, at Schell Park, located at 2305 Laurel Lane, by: Memorial Elementry School. If you can help, Jim will have all needed supplies to do a safe job. Please let Jim know that you will be helping on the club event. Our FUN fellowship work should take 1 or 2 hours and remember many hands make light work.
