The North Texas Pioneers Rotary Club gathered last night for its annual Veterans Dinner, a heartfelt tradition dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the service of our nation’s veterans. Members and guests came together for an evening of gratitude, remembrance, and community spirit.
A special Missing Man Table was displayed to honor service members who never returned home—a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by so many. During the program, Jim Frankenfield shared a compelling history of Veterans Day and the significance of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, offering meaningful context to the evening’s theme of remembrance.
The club proudly presented a donation to Patriot Paws, an organization that provides service dogs to veterans with disabilities. Representatives from Patriot Paws shared the inspiring story of their founding and delighted attendees with a demonstration from a young Labrador in training—already showing the potential to become a life-changing companion for a veteran upon graduation.
